Overview
At MacigHub, your privacy is a top priority. Unlike most web services, nearly all of our tools run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript. This means the data you enter into our tools (text, files, URLs, secrets etc.) is never sent to any server owned or operated by MacigHub.
Data controller
MacigHub is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact: support@macighub.com. Our advertising partner Google LLC acts as an independent controller for advertising data as described below.
What we DO collect
- Anonymous aggregated analytics (if enabled) such as page views, country-level location and referral source.
- Standard web server access logs (IP address, User-Agent, timestamp) for a short period for security and abuse prevention.
- Cookies required for basic functionality, such as your language preference and UI theme choice.
What we DO NOT collect
- Contents of text you paste into text inputs (Base64, JSON, Regex, etc.)
- Contents of files you upload (PDF signature, Base64 files, Webcam recordings)
- Passwords, secrets, API keys or crypto material used in any tool.
- Personally identifiable information for advertising purposes.
Legal basis (GDPR)
We process personal data only on these bases: your consent (advertising and analytics cookies — withdraw anytime by clearing cookies or contacting us) and our legitimate interests (security logs, strictly necessary cookies). Tool inputs are never processed for any purpose.
Children's privacy
MacigHub is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EEA/UK for consent-based processing). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Parents or guardians may contact us to delete such data.
Data retention
Server security logs are kept no longer than 90 days. Language and theme cookies expire after 1 year, analytics cookies after 2 years. Advertising cookie periods are listed in the Cookie Policy.
International transfers
Because Google AdSense operates globally, advertising data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States, under Google’s safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Third-party Advertising
When enabled, we display advertisements via Google AdSense (Google LLC, publisher ID pub-8874602458856837 — see our ads.txt). Google and its partners may use cookies and device identifiers to serve personalized ads based on your browsing activity. Full details: our Advertising Policy and Google Ads Settings. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
