What is this tool?
It turns text, URLs, Wi-Fi credentials, vCards or other payloads into scannable QR codes you can download as images. QR (Quick Response) codes store data in a two-dimensional matrix that any phone camera can read — no app install needed on modern phones.
How to use it
- Choose the payload type (URL, text, Wi-Fi, vCard).
- Enter the content and preview the code live.
- Download the PNG/SVG and test-scan it before printing.

Important limitations
- QR codes have capacity limits (a few thousand characters at most, less with high error correction).
- Anyone can scan them — never encode passwords, private links or secrets.
- Tiny prints and low contrast break scanning; always test at real size.
Privacy
Codes are generated locally in your browser. The content you encode is never transmitted anywhere.

Do QR codes expire?
Static codes like these never expire — the pattern encodes your data directly. (Dynamic codes from URL-shortener services die when the service does.)
What size should I print?
At least 2×2 cm for short URLs; larger for long payloads or distance scanning. Test with several phones.
URL or text — which is better?
URLs for anything changeable (edit the page, keep the code). Raw text for offline-proof content.
